Venice has a very longstanding tradition with coffee. In 1580 the Venetian botanist and physician Prospero Alpini imported coffee into the Republic of Venice from Egypt, and soon coffee shops started opening one by one, by the year 1763 Venice alone accounted for more than 200 shops.*
Our coffee blend of 95% arabica and 5 % robusta originates from the Brazilian highlands and Central America.
It comes with a touch of Robusta India Parchment Kaapi Royale which accentuates the aromas of Arabica and
helps to create the creme, the main feature of a high-quality espresso.
On the other hand, our bar serves a variety of typical Italian aperitivi and cocktails which can be enjoyed throughout the day. We recommend the historical Venetian aperitivo Select, the favorite of Gabriele
D’Annunzio, a famous poet and 1st WW war hero.
